About Us

Research for Results Ltd is a Hampshire based, strategic business to business (B2B) market research consultancy operating across the UK and into Europe. The company has extensive experience with over 25 years work across almost all industry sectors; where it has conducted every type of primary and secondary research (qualitative and quantitative). Our company´s fundamental philosophy however is to be more than a provider of research. In practice this means interpreting research findings as though we were our client. This is part of developing a partnership relationship with our clients, wherever possible.

The Managing Director, Derek Scott, has over 25 years strategic marketing experience in large blue chip organisations including over 20 years with Research for Results and Research for Results its sister company.

The wide range of project areas that Research for Results has been engaged in has been greatly assisted by the networking and contacts that the company has developed, not least through the Managing Director´s association with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

In addition to our core ´team´ as outlined below Research for Results we engage other experts, as may be required to fulfil the requirements for a particular project. Thus, through our extensive network of associates we are able to draw on appropriate executive expertise from academia, business and elsewhere as may be needed. This approach helps to ensure the cost efficiency necessary for clients who require quality research at a reasonable price.

Our corporate client base is centred around Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire, and up the M3 corridor to London. Our work often requires us to undertake assignments across the whole of the UK and into Europe.

—Chris Lincoln — Marketing Manager

We first contacted Research for Results three years ago to conduct a comprehensive research into the attitudes and awareness of HF. Following the successful completion of the 1st years´ survey we commissioned the same survey for the second and third year running. The results from all surveys have proved to be very useful and have contributed significantly to our marketing strategy.
